Trident – company history
As early as 1989, the directors and senior technical team at Trident Voice & Data Limited were providing telephone systems and other solutions to businesses throughout the UK.
As the drivers of a highly successful telecom reseller – whose focus was on customer relationships and the development of our individual staff members – we were instrumental in achieving and maintaining ISO:9000 and Investors In People status, as well as the highest technical accreditations with top system manufacturers.
This success led inevitably to the company being bought by a larger telecoms firm in the year 2001. This merger however, brought about a culture change – typical in such cases – which we felt no longer best-served our customers and our loyal staff.
Accordingly, in 2003 Trident Voice & Data Limited was formed, quite naturally, by directors and key staff in order to return to our core values: Quality Service, Quality Solutions and a determination to develop long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and staff.
Since our inception we enjoyed immediate success in terms of financial growth and customer recognition. We feel and operate as a young, dynamic company – yet we have many years of experience to pass on.
Withstanding the global economic downturn from 2008 onwards, and flourishing thereafter, is a proud achievement; something many of our larger competitors failed to do. We have delivered excellent service to our customers without interruption, proving the value of a worthy and enduring business partnerships.
In four decades we have seen many changes to the Voice and Data technology that brings people together. Indeed, technology continues to change ever more rapidly.
